Dental Assistant (DA)

Description: This is a hands-on, didactic course that offers certificates in dental imaging and coronal polishing. Learn all aspects of the role of a professional dental assistant, including procedures, instruments, safety, hygiene, and dental vocabulary. You will learn front office procedures as well as patient room chairside assistance.

Time: 10 weeks, plus a 120-hour externship

Salary Potential: $16-$27 per hour

Cost: $4,000 (subject to change) cost includes classroom supplies, CPR certification, and background check. Additional fees may vary for certification testing and scrubs.

Pre-Requisites: 18 years of age, High school diploma, or equivalency, a passing score on a basic skills examination and ability to pass drug screening, and ability to pass a background check.
