GED/HiSET Testing

HiSET test preparation and testing (Spanish and English) for migrant farmworkers only.

Test available in English and Spanish. There is a bilingual proctor. If you are interested in taking a HiSET test please register here and click on the sign in/sign up button. This course will introduce students to reading, writing, and language skills in preparation for college classes and workplace settings. Students must be enrolled with Mendocino College. Fee waivers are available.

Reading to learn from narrative and expository text and development of basic composition skills. Application of effective strategies for active learning through reading, writing and studying about a major problem or issue. Students must be enrolled with Mendocino College. Fee waivers are available.

Basic Math

This course will be a study of the fundamental concepts and processes of basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions and decimals, including the fundamentals of percents; converting between fractions, decimals, and percents; unit conversion; and applications. Students must be enrolled with Mendocino College. Fee waivers are available.
